Some of Our Favorite Work This Year

The Lion Lookout: Volume 21

Nearly six years in. Hundreds of conversations. Founders from healthcare, cyber, consumer, deep tech, AI, and everything in between.

And the question we keep hearing, in different forms, is always the same.

How do we stand out?

It sounds simple. It is not. The barrier to building has never been lower, which means the noise has never been louder. AI wrappers. Pitch decks built overnight. Decks that say everything and mean nothing.

Everyone has a story. Most of them sound the same.

The founders who break through are not always the ones with the best product. They are the ones who figured out how to make the most complex, technical, or emotionally charged thing feel human again.

You get one shot. One first impression. One moment where someone decides whether to keep reading or move on.

We have spent the last six years thinking hard about that moment. And this month, we are opening up the portfolio to show you how we approach it.

FlexDrop: Brand Identity + Investor Materials

The Brief

FlexDrop came to us needing a full rebrand. They are building the next generation of urban parcel delivery infrastructure, and they needed something that looked the part. Trustworthy enough to win enterprise relationships. Forward-facing enough to signal where logistics is going. And sharp enough to anchor investor materials that could tell that story clearly.

The Insight

FlexDrop takes the chaos of last-mile delivery and turns it into a shared system. Their Nanohub model works better for retailers, couriers, and communities, not just one side of the transaction. That kind of across-the-chain value is rare. The brand needed to live at that edge. Not legacy logistics. Not a scrappy startup. Something that felt like it belonged to a world that is already moving faster than most people realize.

The Application

We went bold. A high-contrast orange and blue palette that grabs attention without sacrificing credibility. The monogram centers on the letter F paired with a forward-pointing arrow, geometry that communicates speed and direction, while the overall form reads as structured and reliable. Every decision was deliberate. In logistics, trust is the product. The brand had to earn it before anyone read a single word.

CareMatch AI: Business Strategy + Brand + Investor Materials + UI/UX

The Brief

CareMatch AI is an emerging tech company rethinking how families find senior care. They were approaching their first fundraising round and needed everything: a clear business strategy, a brand that reflected where they were going, and investor materials that could hold the room.

The Insight

Finding care for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions a family will make. The process is fragmented, emotional, and exhausting. CareMatch AI changes that by tailoring options to each family's actual situation, bringing families, facilities, and loved ones onto the same page. Finding fit is an act of trust. When you find the right fit, you find care. That idea ran through every piece of work we created.

The Application

We built a full suite. A ten-section business memo covering research, market positioning, and competitive strategy. A brand refresh that revisited the mark, color system, and imagery to reflect a company that leads with empathy and intelligence. Investor materials designed to guide a first-time raise. And preliminary UI/UX that brought the platform to life visually, giving investors and partners something concrete to react to. When you are asking someone to trust you with their family, everything has to feel considered.

Stabilix Fundraising Strategy + Investor Deck Materials + Pitch Script

The Brief

Stabilix came to us with a genuinely hard problem. They are using a combination of hardware, AI, and a consumer app to reduce falls and preserve stability in aging populations. The emotional story was clear. The strategic opportunity was bigger than the deck was showing.

The Insight

Human stability starts to decline long before we notice it. Most of the ways we assess it are still observational and imprecise. Falls are the emotional entry point, something most of us have watched happen to someone we love. But when we started pulling on the thread, we found something larger underneath. We are in a mobility crisis. Remote work, sedentary habits, and aging demographics are converging in a way that touches almost every household. Stabilix was not just a falls prevention tool. It was an answer to a problem the whole world has.

The Application

We took the emotional story of independence and stretched it to match the real size of the opportunity. The strategy repositioned Stabilix AI from a niche senior care play to a broader mobility and longevity platform, without losing the human core that made it relatable in the first place. That shift ran through the full deck and into the pitch script we developed alongside the Stabilix AI team. When the perceived opportunity grows, everything downstream changes. Valuation conversations. Investor interest. The urgency in the room. That is what a strategy reframe can do when it is done right.

Client Spotlight: Stabilix AI

When Steve Schuster, Co-Founder of Stabilix AI, came to us, he had the conviction and the product. What we built together was the language and authority to match it.

This one was genuinely fun to work on. There is something satisfying about a problem that is both deeply personal and universally felt. We’re excited to watch Stabilix AI change the way the world thinks about mobility and longevity as they grow. How do you walk into a room and immediately make someone feel like they get it? How do you take the most technical, complex, or emotionally loaded thing you are building and make it land in thirty seconds?

That is the work. And it is what we do every day.

If you are preparing for a raise, rethinking your positioning to go to market, or just not sure why the story is not landing the way it should, we would love to be in that conversation with you.
